How to change Meta Tag title of a blogger

You cannot add custom meta tags to your posts using the Blogger interface. But, by adding code to the HTML template of your blog, you can create meta title tags. Web browsers do not show meta title tags, but when crawling the web search engine robots catalog that information. Because it can increase the density of their keywords to create meta title tags for your posts, it is also possible to increase the search engine results pages for the keywords in the tags.


  • Navigate your blog in a web browser, and find the post for which a custom meta title is to be created.
  • Maintain open the first page. Go to the Blogger.com tab, open a new browser tab. Login and click "Design" next to the title of your blog.

  • On the top of the page, click "Edit HTML."
  • Click the check box "Expand Templates"
  • To locate the tag in your blog template, press "Ctrl" and "F" simultaneously and type "." Only once is this tag displayed.
  • To move to a blank line, click to place the cursor in the space behind the tag and click on "Enter."
  • Enter a blank line, then substitute your post URL for the entire URL of the blog post in Step 1, between the quotation marks. To move to a new white line, press "Enter."
  • Type and substitute your desired custom title for the capitalized words "TITLE." To move to a new white line, press "Enter."
  • By repeating steps 7 and 8, add extra custom titles for entries. Only once after all the custom titles should the code "" be shown.
  • To save template, click on "Save template."
